Why I still believe the Chicago Bulls will win the NBA Championship!!!

Derrick Rose is the youngest MVP in NBA history and he is the leader of the number one seed Chicago Bulls. Derrick Rose led the Bulls to the Eastern Conference Finals and the best record in the East for two seasons in a row. He also has a career average of 21PPG and about 7APG. In the 2012 Regular season Rose averaged about 22PPG and 8APG. Derrick Rose is a beast but the Chi-town hero tore his ACL and will not be on the court for the rest of the playoffs….. Chicago fans have never been this deflated by any other moment in Chicago Bulls history. Miami Heat fans are secretly rejoicing and the flicker of Championship hope in Chicago seems to be fading out. I can hear Bull Haters whisper behind my back that the Chicago Bulls are done, toast, burnt, scarred and cursed but Paul Martinez aka Fynishline will take a stand for Chicago Bull fans all across the world and say “I still believe that the Chicago Bulls will win the NBA World Championship!!!!”  After that statement you might think I have a valid point or I am a fanatical loony Bull’s fan. The truth is it is both.
WHY THE BULLS WILL WIN THE TITLE!!!
The Chicago Bulls have played a significant amount of the season without Luol Deng, Richard Hamilton and Derrick Rose and the Bulls have the number one record despite that. The Chicago Bulls beat the Miami Heat two games in a row this season without their major stars. We are not a one man team. Did you know that Carlos Boozer, Richard Hamilton, Luol Deng are all All-Stars and guess what they are all healthy. The Chicago Bulls with the one Derrick Rose injury is more complete than it has been the majority of the season and I believe we are better than last year. We are the deepest team in the league and have been successful because of Rebounding, Defense and coaching. The Bulls rank first in rebounding and Defense with Derrick Rose out for 27 games this season. The Chicago Bulls also have one of the deadliest benches ever plus  Coach of the Year Coach Tom Thibodeau who helped the Boston Celtics win a Championship(Did you forget that haters).
I think it’s safe to say that the Bulls will the take the first two rounds without the prolific Derrick Rose but it is also safe to say that most “think” the Bull’s will get swept by the Miami Heat. I disagree; the Chicago Bulls will beat the Heat in 7. The Miami Heat consists of LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade and a bunch of people who underachieve. The Bulls no longer have their one “super star” but one “super star” is not all they got. The Chicago Bulls got two starting line ups and three all-stars without Derrick Rose.  I see it like this: LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade vs. Luol Deng, Richard Hamilton, Carlos Boozer, Joakim Noah, CJ Watson, Ronnie Brewer, Omer Asik, Taj Gibson, Kyle Korver, Jimmy Butler, John Lucas and Tom Thibodeau. All the guys I named for the Bulls are either impact players or at least good.
The Chicago Bulls play with heart like no other team in the league and they will avenge the eastern conference finals lost to the Miami Heat for our MVP Derrick Rose. The Chicago Bulls play defense better. They play as a team better. The Heat has gotten better as well but not as much as the Bulls. We are the deepest and most compatible team I have ever seen and I can’t wait for our bigs to dominate the boards vs. the Heat.  The Heat should be praying that Omer Asik gets injured because when he got injured that’s when the Heat took off last year in the East finals. We couldn’t dominate the boards as well without Omer Asik. The Miami Heat’s big three may just have enough fire power to take out our entire roster but I think we will overcome the enemy. I BELIEVE. I BELIEVE THE CHICAGO BULLS WILL DOMINATE THE BOARDS AGAINST THE HEAT. I BELIEVE ARE OTHER PLAYERS WILL STEP UP LIKE NEVER BEFORE. I BELIEVE WE WILL OUT COACH THE HEAT. I BELIEVE WE WILL PLAY BETTER DEFENSE. I BELIEVE WE WILL HAVE SUFFICIENT SCORING AND I HAVE STATS TO BACK IT UP.
THE CHICAGO BULLS WILL WIN THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP!!! THE CHICAGO BULLS WILL BEAT THE MIAMI HEAT!!!......without Derrick Rose

Marlin’s Park is a great new spot in Miami!

What’s good fam? On April 19th I went to the Marlins vs. Cubs game with my Uncle. Shout out to Tio Neko.  As many of you know I am a big Cubs fan so I enjoyed watching my team do their thing on the field but I didn’t enjoy them losing. I enjoyed watching some of my favorite ball players like Alfonso Soriano, Starlin Castro and Geovany Soto. I still had a blast. That’s not the point; the point is that I have been to five baseball stadiums (wriggly field, old Yankee stadium, Dolphin stadium and a minor league park in New Jersey plus Marlin’s Park).Marlin’s park had me thinking about if it’s the best. It didn’t win lol. I still take the tradition and history of wriggly field over Marlin’s park any day but Marlin’s park has to be of one of the most attractive stadiums ever. It’s a great addition to Miami attractions. Let me break it down for you. It is a real baseball park; the Marlin’s no longer play at a football stadium. It’s the most artistic park in the country and there is a competitive team on the field every night with all-stars like Carlos Zambrano, Hanley Ramirez and Jose Reyes; the standing record is not stellar at the moment but relax its very early.  Marlin Park can be an indoor stadium, so when the dome is down you feel like you’re watching a live baseball game in your living room. The design of the entire stadium is top notch. There is a bobble head museum, good food and a swimming pool that you can watch the game from. Yea there is a swimming pool at this place called The Clevander in the stadium (Warning: I heard it might not be family friendly: not sure heard I two stories).  I think the stadium will be beneficial to the franchise. Even though I didn’t like how they built the stadium with tax payers’ money. I still feel we should be proud of it because it brings something special to South Florida. I am looking forward to going to many Marlins’ games because of the new park.

Nautico Fish Market

What’s going on fam? As many of you see I have been writing a lot lately. I feel like writing is a good way to express myself. Shout out to @jblaze305 for inspiring me to blog and write this food review lol. What I’m about to write about everyone can relate to. Everyone needs food so everyone eats food lol. A place where I got excellent food was at Nautico Fish Market (10929 Southwest 186th Street Miami, FL 33187). This place is like a hidden gem. It’s near the turn pike somewhere in South Miami, when I went to visit my mom in Homestead she took me to it. At this spot the cooks seem to run the show and do most the work. Its two young Hispanic guys and they did a great job with cooking. Their service was on point. I wish more people knew about it, their location isn’t the best. Hopefully if they step their advertising game up more people will come and the word will get out. My mom ordered me a lobster empanada and a Minuta sandwich. It was the best sea food I have ever had. It was like a fresh revelation! Before going to the Nautico Fish Market I never had lobster empanadas or a Minuta sandwich. They gave me one of the best first impressions for food I have ever had. The lobster meat in the empanada tasted fresh and when it was combined with the crispy breading it took things to another level. I like lobster empanadas as much as chicken or pork now because of this spot. The fish was high quality; I’m not a fish expert so forgive me for my lack of descriptive language. I had this Cuban sandwich called the Minuta sandwich and it was off the chain. The way they seasoned it made my taste buds satisfied. They also had these seasoned fries that complimented the meal very well.  All I can say is you got to check this out. Go support the locals. They have a nice clean presentable environment and the food speaks for itself. The best part was hearing this young cook named Boris and his friend talk about how business is hard but they keep pushing to fulfill the vision that was in Boris’s mothers mind. Boris and his friend seem to have a strong passion for what they are doing. He told me about how he was raised around a culture of cooking. They take care of their customers and take making the food they create serious. They are committed to making a good product and that’s why they produce quality meals. Any talent that God has given you whether it’s making fish sandwiches’, writing poetry or cleaning cars you need to go hard with it. Go hard in the yard with anything you do and go check out Nautico Fish Market in Miami so you can taste some top notch food.

The Top Ten Greatest Christian Hip-Hop Artists Ever

This is my list based on industry impact combined with each artists level of talent. Enjoy!

1. Lecrae (@Lecrae)

There is not a Christian rapper on the planet that has impacted the Hip-Hop industry at the level Lecrae has. He has gotten recognition from no malice (formerly known as malice from the Clipse), Lupe Fiasco, Static Selektah and much more.  He is performing at the same events as artist like the Wu-Tang clan and Odd Future. He sells hundreds of thousands of records and charts for weeks upon weeks. Lecrae has been nominated for a Grammy and has won many Christian music awards. His flow, lyrics and production is way above average. He is the most well-known Christian rapper with above average talent in the world and that’s why he is the number one rapper on this list.

2. T-Bone (@BoneySoprano)

T-Bone is one of the pioneers of Christian Hip-Hop. He has been rocking the mic since the early 90’s. He has been nominated for a Grammy three times and has won many Christian music awards.  He has collaborated with secular Hip-Hop artist like KRS-ONE, Mack 10 and Chino XL. His lyrical ability is undeniable. He has been interviewed by Jay-Z and has appeared on MTV several times. You might have seen him in The Fighting Temptations with Cuba Gooding JR. and BeyoncĂ©. T-Bone has taken the message of the cross to the masses.

3. Da T.R.U.T.H (@truthonduty)

Da T.R.U.T.H is one of the top selling Christian rap artists. He has won a Stellar Award and has been nominated for a Grammy award. He has toured alongside artist like Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary. Da T.R.U.T.H has a sick flow! You might have seen him on the 24th Annual Stellar Awards, MTV’s My Super Sweet 16, BET’s Lift Every Voice, TBN, Daystar and Gospel Music Channel. Da T.R.U.T.H is a Hip-Hop legend.

4. The Ambassador (ambassador 215)

The Ambassador is a founding member of the legendary Gospel Hip-Hop group Cross Movement. He dropped a Hip-Hop classic with his debut album Christology: In Laymen’s Terms. As a member of Cross Movement he was nominated for a Stellar and Grammy for the Cross Movement album History: Our Place in His Story. The Ambassador is one of the best artists lyrically.

 5. Rhema Soul (@rhemasoul)

Rhema Soul may not boast the same amount of accolades as Lecrae, Da T.R.U.T.H, KJ-52 or Grits but they have the talent to match Christian Hip-Hop acts like that and probably advance past them. They have appeared on secular television network Fuse TV for their video “Steez” and they have performed at one of the premier musical events Rock the Universe alongside artist like Grits, Relient K, David Crowder Band, and Switchfoot.  They are an all-star combination of Butta P, K-Nuff and Juan Love. Their new album “Red” is amazing.

6.  Trip Lee (@triplee116)

Trip Lee is the most successful artist on reach records after Lecrae. He is easily a household name for Christian Hip-Hop fans and he is only 24 years old. Three of his albums have charted on industry charts. His latest album the “The Good Life” debuted at #2 overall on i-tunes passing Nicki Minaj. Trip Lee has high quality production and makes hit songs.

7.  Grits (@OfficialGrits)

Grits is a Christian Hip-Hop success. Their hit single Ooh Aah has appeared on MTV and the soundtrack to The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift and Big Momma’s House 2. They have sold hundreds of thousands of records and have won a Dove award, definitely one of the most noteworthy Christian rap groups.

8.Braille (@braillehiphop)

Braille reaches a secular audience better than most. He is all over college radio and tours a lot. He has performed alongside artists like James Brown and De La Soul. He is part of the lyrical heavy hitter crew “Humble Beast”. One of the most respected faith based Hip-Hop artist ever.

    9. Sho Baraka (@AmIshoBaraka)

He is one of the most well-known artists. He has toured with the 116 clique. He left Reach Records and started one of the hottest new Hip-Hop crews “The High Society Collective” which includes Jamm, JR, Suzy Rock and Swoope. He is also a member of Hello Revolution. Sho Baraka is killing it!

    10. Shai Linne (@ShaiLinne)

One of the most humble rappers in the music industry, since he won’t say it I will “Sha Linne is one of the greatest lyricist ever.”  I don’t think anyone takes theological content and expresses it at a higher lyrical level. I love this dude. He has collaborated with Flame, Trip Lee and more.

What are you Driven by?

In order to do something special at a high level you must be driven. You must be driven to put in the work needed to achieve greatness. There are a lot of people who have left a mark in their area of expertise. Some that come to mind are Michael Jordan, Eminem, Charles Spurgeon and Michelangelo.  All honed their craft into excellence and were prolific but what was their motive behind being great. Maybe they wanted to provide for their family, gain respect, and indulge in luxuries the world has to offer. Some of those things are good as secondary goals but if you’re a believer you shouldn't be driven by worldly rewards. Believers in Christ should be driven by the mercies of God. We should be in awe of the grace of God so much that it should drive us to do great things for God. The things we do for Christ should then be a vessel that God uses to communicate the Gospel of Christ. We should be driven to see our community put their faith in Jesus Christ and repent from their sins. We don’t do good works for God because it saves it us, for salvation is only found in God. We don’t do good works just because we want to be the best at what we do. We do good works and try to be the best we can be because we are driven to give everything for God because he gave his all for us. We want to see humans walk in their purpose.
